Made to Order in India: How Conveyor Apparel Works
Conveyor Apparel is a made in India streetwear brand. We print original designs, inspired by motorsport, Japanese ink art, animals and mythology, on heavyweight oversized tees, hoodies and crewnecks. Everything's made to order, so we don't sit on a warehouse of stock waiting to go out of style. You order, we print, it ships. Most orders arrive in 5 to 9 business days. Here's how that works and why we built it this way.
What "made to order" actually means for your tee
When you place an order, that specific tee gets printed for you. Nothing sits in a bin for six months collecting dust and creases. The upside is real: no dead stock, no mystery sizing shortages, and designs that stay sharp because we're printing on fresh fabric every time.
The trade-off is time. Give us 5 to 9 business days from order to doorstep (up to 15 for remote pincodes). If you need something for a race weekend or a con next Tuesday, order early. We'd rather set that expectation up front than ghost you with a fake "ships tomorrow" promise. Once your piece is printed and packed, you get tracking and it moves like any normal parcel from there.
Paying: online or cash on delivery
Pay online with UPI, cards, netbanking or wallets. Or choose cash on delivery for a ₹49 COD fee on orders under ₹3,000, where it is offered. The COD fee shows at checkout before you confirm, and it is separate from shipping, which stays free.
Every piece is printed for you, so a refused parcel is a tee nobody else can wear. That is why cash on delivery has a fee, and why we confirm a COD order with you before we print it, by phone or email. We may contact you more than once to do that. If we can't confirm within 48 hours, the order is cancelled before printing and nothing is charged.
Pay online and printing starts as soon as payment clears, and the order ships within 2 to 4 business days. With cash on delivery, those 2 to 4 business days start when you confirm the order.
If a cash on delivery parcel comes back refused, you haven't paid anything, so there is nothing to refund. We may switch COD off for your next order.
240 GSM tees, 400 GSM fleece, and why the number matters
Our tees are 240 GSM, 100% cotton. Our hoodies and crewnecks are 400 GSM cotton-poly fleece. GSM is grams per square metre, basically how much fabric is packed into the cloth. Most fast-fashion tees sit around 150 to 180 GSM, thin enough to see your skin through and quick to go limp after a few washes.
At 240 GSM, the fabric has weight and structure. It hangs off the shoulders instead of clinging, holds the oversized cut we design for, and doesn't turn transparent under harsh light. Heavier cotton also survives Indian laundry reality: bucket washes, hard water, aggressive drying on the balcony rail. It softens as it ages instead of pilling into a mess. You feel the difference the first time you pick one up.
Original designs, grouped by theme
Every design is original artwork, built around themes people are genuinely into. We don't print other brands' logos or characters.
The themes we print:
- Racing and motorsport, for people who wake up at odd hours for lights out
- Cars and drift culture, engines, late-night garage energy
- Japan, with ink brushwork, ronin, oni masks and koi
- Animals and mythology, gods, beasts, folklore reworked in a street cut
Start with our racing and motorsport designs if racing's your thing, or head to the Japan collection for ink art, ronin and oni masks. New designs land regularly, so browse the latest drops to catch them before they're everywhere.
Shipping across India
We ship pan-India. Metro, tier-two city, small town, doesn't matter. If a courier reaches your pincode, we reach you. Pricing is in rupees, everything's built for the Indian market, and there are no surprise conversion games at checkout.
So: pick your piece, pay online (or on delivery where it is offered), we print it, and it lands at your door in 5 to 9 business days (up to 15 for remote pincodes). Slower than grabbing something off a shelf, sure. But you end up with a tee that outlasts the trend cycle and doesn't fall apart by winter.
